Pergolas

Pergola & Shade Arbor Construction

A pergola is an outdoor shade structure featuring a lattice roof design intended to give partial sun blockage for a patio area. Lattices and arbors are also known as pergolas. In Houston, shade arbor construction is desirable because it is a less expensive shading option than building a covered patio. Most pergolas are attached to a home but they can also be built as a freestanding garden structure.

"Lone Star Patio Builders was the right choice for us! With a backyard that desperately needed some shade, their pergola options and entire attitude about making it a simple and streamlined process intrigued us. With a very tight space to work with, they worked very closely with us to lay out the pergolas shape, discuss finishes, and even added an exterior electrical outlet. They truly work with you to make sure your vision for the final product comes to life and work to ensure your needs are met (and exceeded). Our pergola was started and finished in 2 days. They even left our yard in tip-top shape and ready for use upon completion. My wife and I are very happy with the product and with a very competitive price we will definitely recommend them to anyone else looking to make an addition to their outdoor space."
